NGWave – Audio Editing Software for Windows
If you are running your computer on the Microsoft developed Windows operating system, and you would like to edit audio files, there are a myriad of software applications you could try. I would like to draw attention to the Next Generation Software Inc-developed NGWave, a software application that needs minimal system requirements to work.
All you need is 8MB of disk space for setup, any Windows-compatible sound card, a minimum of 64Mb of ram and a Pentium III or AMD Athlon or equivalent processor. I think you will agree these are indeed some very minimal system requirements. And speaking of keeping things to a minimum, the NGWave download weighs in at little under 4MB, which means that even with a quite terrible internet connection you should download it off the web in no time at all.
Once you download the software, the installation wizard will guide you though all the steps required to install NGWave on your Windows-powered PC. If you’ve used audio editing software in the past, you will not have a problem using NGWave. You need not sweat it if you are a novice computer user. The first time you launch NGWave, the software will ask you if this is your first time using it. Then it will ask you if you want to view the “Getting Started guide” and familiarize yourself with the program’s features.
You can try your hand on the small audio file that comes with NGWave – it says something like “NGWave, the next generation in PC audio editing.” The simple and intuitive interface lets you perform a multitude of editing tasks.
You should know that NGWave is packed with recording features as well. It has an integrated metronome, built-in audio mixer, realistic analog VU metering, and more.
If at any time you find that an edit you made isn’t what you hoped for, then pay attention to this: NGWave provides unlimited undo and redo.
NGWave – high speed audio editing at an affordable price.
